What is PassMan-C4?

PassMan-C4 application is a powerful password manager designed for safe storing of your sensitive data. Especially your user names, passwords, hexadecimal keys, PINs and others. PassMan-C4 contains 4 basic tools which enable you to:

What differs PassMan-C4 from other managers?

PassMan-C4 differs from the others mainly in the work with passwords. Nowadays more and more password managers integrate directly to the user systems and internet explorers by their tools and add-ons. These managers offer many tools for auto-login and auto-fill login forms. Nevertheless these applications forget the user's need and often necesity to log in not only to web applications but also to the other non-web applications. Not only this feature makes PassMan-C4 unique - all logins the user does with PassMan-C4's work bar with no system and no browser infiltration. Hence the user gets absolute control over all his login data and he is able to effective and safe work with his passwords.

Your password management

Sensitive data management does a main tool called simply - Password Manager. All sensitive data are encrypted by symetric algorithm Blowfish. Every PassMan-C4's user has his own password-protected database with all his sensitive data. All user's data are decrypted only at the time-of-use, so data aren't hold in the memory uncovered. The database-access password is just the one that the user must remember.

Database file structure is constructed by groups and records, where every record may contains a various number of item with your "sensitive data" (passwords, access codes, etc.) in either order. These records in database are able to make copies, move, print or export up to 4 different formats.

For usage of stored sensitive data the manager has work bar with no system infiltration. Work bar is the slim and dynamic window always on top with groups, record and most wanted PassMan-C4's tools. Work bar provides you to copy your selected passwords into the system clipboard in any time, from this clipboard you can paste it wherever you want.

Manager also has the global lock of application and detailed database searching. With PassMan-C4's database files you are able of safe storage, transfer and usage of your passwords on every PC where PassMan-C4 application is installed.

Get back your passwords

Password Discovery is simple tool for getting asterisked passwords (also known as "masked passwords"). This tool is able to unmask the text, hidden by asterisk, dots or by another masking symbols OS Windows. So now by just one double-click you can get back your unavailable passwords.

New password - no problem

If you need to create strong and uncrackable passwords or numeric codes, use Password Generator tool which provides you to generate up to 3 types of passwords. But if you need to generate passwords in own-defined format, use the "template" to generate exact form of password. Generated string you can use wherever you want.

Security of your files

Now ultra fast and safe encryption of huge files is not a problem again. File Encryptor tool enables you to fast and high-quality encryption of any file with size up to 100 MB which takes a few seconds (100 MB/~20 seconds). For encryption is used a powerful Blowfish algorithm, for verification of written data is used CRC32 checksum.
