Question:What is a license code and what's the use of it?
Answer:License code is the string generated from install code by the PassMan-C4's author for activation of the PassMan-C4 full version. Both install and license code are fixed on PassMan-C4's location on the hard drive (as a part of program protection) hence before the program activation make sure the location of the PassMan-C4 full version. It's recommended to install the application on stable hard drive (eventual hard disk format invalidates install and license codes).
Question:Is it necessary to install PassMan-C4 application?
Answer:PassMan-C4 uses libraries required for application run which are included by default at all Windows operating systems. Except the GUI libraries which aren't included by all OS hence the instalation is required for correct application run. In other cases like instalation on removable disks, USB flash/CD/DVD or moving of execution files into other directories is not possible to warrant correct application run by that time.
Question:How can I get a license code for PassMan-C4 full version?
Answer:License code you can easily order here. Once the order is paid the ordered license codes are supplied to you.
Question:After the registration/order no e-mail from passman-c4.net was sent to me, what's wrong?
Answer:In case your e-mail provider has an active e-mail SPAM filter, please watch your SPAM folder with e-mails identified as SPAM. Is possible the passman-c4.net e-mail was marked as SPAM e-mail. Even if you haven't this e-mail in your SPAM folder, please contact passman-c4.net technical support.
Question:What are PassMan-C4's minimum system requirements?
Answer:Application's system requirements are commonly very low. SR's detailed description you find on online help in section "About application".
Question:What differences are between trial and full version of PassMan-C4 application?

Question:Is it possible to open database files of the PassMan-C4 full version in the trial version?
Answer:Yes, it is, but only for read. Restrictions of the trial version are just on record's and group's management.
Question:Is it possible to decrypt huge files in the trial version of PassMan-C4 if these files were encrypted in the full version?
Answer:Yes, it is. For file decryption is no restriction in trial version.
Question:Is it possible to open database files of PassMan's older versions in PassMan-C4?
Answer:No it isn't. This new version of PassMan-C4 application comes with a new structure of user files (databases) and older version's databases aren't supported yet.
Question:What is encrypted in the database - just passwords or all data?
Answer:In the user's database are encypted all data entered by the user including database's settings.
Question:I forgot my access password to the database. Is it possible to get it back or is there any other way to access my database?
Answer:The access password is used only as a part of the key for database encyption. If the access password is lost there is neither no way to get it back nor no way to access database's groups and records.

How to pay with PayPal?

In case you have ordered the user license for PassMan-C4 and you are able to pay with PayPal payment system (e.g. to make foreing orders), follow these steps:

  • Click on the "Pay Now" button below, a PayPal payment form is open.
  • To "Unit Price" text box enter total due on your invoice.
  • To "Description" text box enter variable symbol in the format: "VS: X", where X is the variable symbol on your invoice.
  • Please check all you payment information and make sure your variable symbol is valid. Variable symbol is very important information identifying your order!
  • Fill out your contact/login information to PayPal .
  • Proceed a payment by clicking on "Pay Now" button in the Paypal form.
